Equine - Assisted Learning

Our equine-assisted learning program is for people with disabilities or additional needs to build life skills through guided interaction with our carefully selected ponies.

These are non-riding sessions designed to create a calm, safe, inclusive and supportive space where participants can learn at their own pace.

Sessions may include:

·       Grooming and basic pony care

·       Leading and handling skills

·       Ground-based confidence activities

·       Learning horse behaviour, boundaries and safety

Benefits include:

  • Improved confidence and independence

  • Improved speech, communication and social skills

  • Emotional regulation and reduced anxiety

  • Joy, connection and friendship

We work with participants who may be current or former National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) clients, as well as participants in programs such as Riding for the Disabled Association Australia (RDA).
